Before the AGM and Chapter meeting in Stockholm in October itSMF International's Ethics Review Board (IERB) has spent considerable time and effort in reviewing and revising the current set of codes of ethics and in putting together two new services that this dedicated group can now deliver to the itSMF chapters. These two new services along with updated code of ethics documentation were sent to all chapter leaders for feedback from the Stockholm meeting.
The International Executive Board (IEB) met in January in Australia for our recent quarterly board meeting and included within this communication are some key highlights of the output of that meeting.

Call for Papers:
Prague (January 2013) - At the 7th itSMF Annual Conference of the Czech Republic, subtitled "Business and IT in the same boat" which took place on the 31st of October 2012 in Prague, the winners of the second annual competition for the best project in the field of IT Service Management were announced. The project of Devoteam titled "Implementation of Configuration Management System" for KB (Komercni Banka) - won the first place. Second place went to project "Service Desk" by Tesco SW for customer CNB (Ceska Narodni Banka).
The call for presentations for ITSM13, the itSMF UK Annual Conference and Exhibition 2013, is open with submissions needed by 1st March 2013. This year the world's leading IT service management conference will be at the International Convention Centre in central Birmingham on the 4th & 5th November.

itSMF Hellas announces the 6th itSMF South East Europe conference due to be held in Athens on the 18th and 19th of April 2013. The mission of this itSMF regional conference is to provide opportunities for collaboration of IT professionals and service managers across national borders, to demonstrate ITSM good practice, share their existing views and generate new knowledge in an area IT Service Management.
